Survivor Philippines Episode 8 Recap

Time again for our weekly recap of Survivor Philippines. Episode 8 begins on Night 19 as the Dangayne Tribe returns from a brutal Tribal Council. Veteran player Jonathan Penner escaped becoming the first member of The Jury thanks to him playing his hidden immunity idol. Instead, his sole ally, RC, got the boot. Jonathan asks around for an explanation for the betrayals. Jeff Ghent offers a lame answer while Denise tells him flat out that she was just protecting her own butt. Jeff agrees with her but adds that he is willing to give Jonathan a second chance if they can exploit any cracks in the Tandang alliance. Penner knows now that he is on his own! Day 20 and the gang considers their next move, either booting Jonathan or the other veteran player, Michael Skupin. Jeff tries to recruit Lisa to disposing of Penner once and for all. But a Reward Challenge may change the picture very much. The tribe is divided into two teams, Blue and Yellow, to race in retrieving four fishing traps from underwater and then arranging a series of puzzle flags.
